• Key Feature: Uses a traditional 5-lever mortice key instead of a euro cylinder
• Snib Colour: Look for a blue snib (deadbolt/hook bolt versions may have grey, black, or green snibs)
• Branding: ERA locks are sometimes rebranded under names like Saracen or Laird
• Gearbox Shape: Distinctive square-shaped gearbox with no corner cutouts
• Faceplate Markings: May not always show ERA branding—check key profile and snib for confirmation
