ERA Multipoint Door Lock – Split Spindle with 3 Hooks, 4 Rollers & Latch
ERA Multipoint Door Lock – Split Spindle with 3 Hooks, 4 Rollers & Latch
Product Overview
This high-security ERA Hookbolt multipoint door lock features three hooks, four rollers, and a latch, making it an ideal replacement for enhanced door security and smooth locking operation. Its split spindle mechanism separates internal and external handle functions, commonly used on front and back doors for improved protection.
ERA multipoint locks are often branded under different names, including Homesafe, Surelock, Saracen, Spartan, Duraflex, Supa, Westward, or Cego. Originally designed to replace GU, Lockmaster, and Winkhaus locks, this model is compatible with existing routing, making upgrades and replacements simple.
Why Choose ERA?
ERA is a leading UK manufacturer of multipoint locking systems for uPVC, composite, and aluminium doors. Their locks are well-regarded for durability, compatibility, and ease of identification and replacement.
Identifying ERA Locks:
- Locks may be rebranded with different names on the faceplate.
- Look for the holdback snib – typically grey on hook and deadbolt locks, blue on Vectis, though some models may be black or green.
- ERA locks were formerly known under the Saracen brand when Laird supplied the double glazing industry before rebranding to ERA.
