Product Information
The Maco Protect C-TS multipoint door lock offers a high-security configuration featuring 2 rollers, 2 hooks, 1 deadbolt, and 1 latch. Designed for use with uPVC and aluminium doors, it uses a split spindle operation for flexible functionality.
Introduced in 2012, the C-TS range replaced the older G-TS models. However, these are not direct replacements due to the repositioned locking points. The C-TS lock supports both lift lever and split spindle operation, offering a versatile upgrade to enhance security.
Identify a Maco C-TS by the Maco logo on the faceplate and its distinctively rounded gearbox and hook cases. Faceplate options include 16mm, 20mm, and Top Hat styles — the latter providing a clean finish for euro groove setups.
For added protection, these locks include uni-directional hooks and hook-and-anti-lift pin configurations. Anti-lift pins resist forced entry and require matching keeps.
The included i.S. cams (compression rollers) are made from hardened steel and help pull the door tightly against the frame, preventing warping, dust, and water ingress. They are also adjustable by around 1mm for optimal sealing.
🔧 Note: Due to differing locking point positions from the G-TS series, installation may require keep repositioning or routing adjustment.
How It Works – Split Spindle Operation
To lock the door:
- Lift the handle to engage the locking mechanisms.
- Turn the key to secure the deadbolt and all locking points.
To unlock the door:
- Insert and turn the key to release the locking system.
- Push the handle down to disengage all points and retract the latch.
Latch Reversal: Press the serrated button on the gearbox side, remove the latch, rotate it, and reinsert.
