This GU Europa multipoint door lock features a high-security configuration with 2 rollers, 1 deadbolt, and 1 latch, designed to provide enhanced compression and reliability for uPVC and aluminium doors. It includes a bottom shootbolt and serrated rail to accommodate an optional top shootbolt, offering additional locking strength for double-door setups.
About the GU Europa Range
The GU Secury Europa series includes lift lever and split spindle-operated multipoint door locks. While some suppliers may still use older terms like "Ferco" or "GU Ferco," the modern 92mm PZ locks are now widely referred to as "GU". Older models with 70mm PZ are still labeled "Ferco."
These locks are easily identifiable by the GU logo stamped on the faceplate. If you are repairing or replacing an older door lock, check if the gearbox has a top corner cut-out (old style) or a vertical groove (new style). New and old gearboxes are not interchangeable, but replacing an old lock with a new version is possible with minor adjustments to the keeps or door alignment.

Locking Operation (Lift Lever)
To Lock:
- Lift the handle to engage locking points.
- Turn the key to secure the deadbolt and rollers.
To Unlock:
- Turn the key to release the system.
- Push the handle downward to disengage locking points.
Latch Reversal Instructions
Insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the rectangular slot above the spindle, pull out the latch, reverse its direction, and reinsert.
