The Fullex SL16 multipoint door lock is a high-security solution widely used in both private and social housing. It features one latch, three solid steel deadbolts, and an additional hook for enhanced protection. This lock is compatible with uPVC, composite, timber, and aluminium doors.

One of the key identifiers of the SL16 lock is its 68mm centres (PZ) — a measurement unique to Fullex multipoint locks, making it simple to distinguish from other systems on the market.

Handle Compatibility

This lock requires handles with 68mm centres (PZ)—the distance between the spindle and euro cylinder cut-out. It supports lever/lever and lever/pad handle sets, with or without a snib function to hold back the latch. Lever/lever handles with a snib are available; lever/pad snib handles are discontinued.

Operation Instructions

To Lock the Door:

1. Lift the handle to engage the latch and all locking points.
2. Turn the key to fully deadlock the mechanism.

To Unlock the Door:

1. Use the key to unlock the deadbolts and hook.
2. Push the handle down to retract the latch and disengage the locking points.

Durability & Compliance

The Fullex SL16 is constructed with a 304-grade stainless steel faceplate for high corrosion resistance. It is cycle tested to 100,000 operations and salt spray tested to BS EN 1670 Grade 5 (480 hours). The SL16 meets PAS24 security standards and is approved for Secured by Design doorsets when installed with compatible components.
